Toki Tree (2009) is a short footage that Deniz made to accompany her video work TOKI and Happiness (2009). Deniz asked two young performers to climb a tree. In this work, Deniz imagines tree-as-house, a strong visual contrast to grey, dull and ugly TOKI (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) houses.
